While relaxing at Aurora Kakadu in the heart of the Kakadu National Park, experience the natural and cultural wonders of Kakadu National Park with Aboriginal owned and operated Ayal Aboriginal Tours Kakadu. Explore the East and South Alligator regions of Kakadu with a knowledgeable local Aboriginal guide Victor Cooper.   Victor is a former park ranger and traditional owner who enjoys sharing stories about the spectacular Kakadu rock art and his knowledge of bush tucker and the floodplain country on his small group tours.

 

Day 1- Check in at Aurora Kakadu – Superior room category (Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday), with the remainder of the day to relax.

 

Day 2 – Clients meet Victor Cooper their Kakadu based Aboriginal tour guide at 7.30am in the Aurora Kakadu Reception. The tour will then   commence and includes some of some of Kakadu's best experiences. During the day, clients will see – the Magela floodplains, the spectacular escarpment outliers to Ubirr - one of Kakadu's major aboriginal rock art sites, East Alligator River - the border   between Kakadu and Arnhem Land with the chance of seeing the Estuarine Crocodile, visit Bowali Visitor Centre, the Marrawuddi Gallery where there is a range of local art work, South Alligator River and Mamukala wetlands - a great opportunity to view the spectacular bird life. Enjoy a fresh cold meat and salad lunch with cool refreshments provided.

 

Tour return will be to Aurora Kakadu (2.30pm), package ends or optional extra night.

Cancellation Policy;

Less than 3 days notice prior to check in at Aurora Kakadu or in the event of a ‘no-show’ – 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Whilst every effort is made to advise customers in a timely manner, there may be times when the tour component may be cancelled without prior notice due to cultural reasons or conditions beyond the operator’s control. A full refund will be provided in this instance.
